a beast built for the far north

The wind as our engine and science as our horizon

The Patago 39 is an all-aluminum centerboarder designed by naval architect Jean-François André. Built for all latitudes around the globe, our vessel is not only a rugged means of transportation, but also a scientific laboratory and a mobile production studio with a minimal carbon footprint. Powered by the wind and boasting a minimal carbon footprint, it respects the environments it traverses to document the state of our oceans without disturbing them.
